Full Job Description Description:
We are looking for a proactive, innovative team player to join our swing shift Packaging Team. This person must be able to operate equipment efficiently and effectively while adhering to the run schedule assigned by the team leader. This is an onsite position at our Ferndale, WA locations. The shift schedule is Monday-Thursday / 4 PM-2:30 AM.
Requirements:
Work with a variety of machines that process and package Barlean's products. Keep the workstation clean. Maintain a productive workflow. Ensure product quality. Ensure compliance with all GMP's, GDP's, Barlean's SOP's, and SQF regulations. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Attention to Detail-documentation oriented processes. Willingness to learn Kaizen principles. Works well with others. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and climb ladder and stairs. Excellent attendance. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English. Self-starter and follow through. Task Oriented. Mechanical Aptitude. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a plant/manufacturing environment.
