Full-Time Hours:
40+/week: Hourly Competitive benefit package Annual wage review based on individual performance. Company sponsored bonus package dependent upon individual & company performance.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The blending technician operates production equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Produce food products to meet all federal, state and customer requirements, regulations, and specifications. Follows established company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Displays a positive attitude in a team environment Ability to prioritize workflow Ability to make necessary arrangements and/or preparations for next shift Ability to direct a crew of 2-10 people Ability to follow written or verbal instructions like recipes/formulas to produce an end product with little or no supervision Ability to create and print labels using Bar Tender Program Ability to standardize product Effective communication skills: verbal, written, and electronic form Strong knowledge of sanitation, CIP, and COP procedures Ability to work safely around equipment Initiative to learn and cross train on other equipment Ability to perform shift work: days & nights and including weekends Is familiar with HACCP & Regulatory requirements Ability to conduct line changeovers to meet daily production requirements Ability to perform all essential duties of the packaging/blending operations Must be forklift certified or can obtain forklift certification under company direction Ability to perform under pressure and complete tasks on time Extreme attention to detail
WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age or older Experience in the ingredient, beverage, or food processing industry Equipment operating experience Good reading, writing and verbal skills Strong teamwork skills Proficient computer skills Able to pull, push, lift 50+ lbs. safely throughout a 12-hour shift
