Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC / SawJet Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, SawJets, and related fabrication equipment to produce high-quality components efficiently. Your expertise in programming, setup, and quality control will ensure precision manufacturing processes that meet strict specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic factory environment where safety, accuracy, and productivity are top priorities. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines, SawJets, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other fabrication equipment with precision and efficiency. Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials handling systems such as forklifts to facilitate smooth production workflows. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and document machine performance. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Support fabrication activities including welding, assembly, stamping press operations, and tooling adjustments as needed to meet production goals. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, or similar equipment in a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and familiarity with Fanuc controls. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately; experience with GD&T is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fabrication processes, and materials handling equipment like forklifts. Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control instruments. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions and tolerances; familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks is a plus. Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining operations including welding, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabrication tools. Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility with hands-on assembly line work or packaging is preferred. Pay:
