• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds
• Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
• You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
• Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Additional Requirements:

• Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive assembly operations
• Able to climb and down ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs.

A day in the life The MFG Assembly Technician II is responsible for the assembly of Amazon Leo satellites. You will work closely with engineering, test, quality and operations teams to deliver Amazon Leo production hardware to final integration. Your day will involve hands-on responsibilities such as mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, harnessing connections, fiber optic splicing and testing, requiring attention to detail, precision and adaptability. You'll ensure that every satellite build meets the highest standards of quality, workmanship, and safety, while maintaining strict timelines to support launch schedules. Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings Preferred Qualifications
• Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
• CFOT certification or equivalent experience
• Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience
• ASE certification or equivalent experience
• Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
• Experience working with

sensitive hardware and clean room requirements

• Experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness Integration
