This role requires operational knowledge of mailing equipment and processes, including sorting, labeling, and packaging mail, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Success in this role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving industry standards. Essential Job Responsibilities Apply USPS rules and regulations, including sorting mail and understanding postage rates. Operate mailing equipment such as Cheshire labelers, inkjet machines, postage meters, and inserters. Perform manual tasks such as hand assembly, collation, inserting, and labeling. Operate shrink-wrapping equipment and assist in packaging tasks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the warehouse area inside and out. Adhere to safety and attendance policies. Assist with diagnosing and resolving operational or mechanical issues related to mailing tasks. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Operational and mechanical aptitude for mailing equipment. Ability to interpret and follow work orders, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as rulers, gauges, and meters. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Capacity to lift up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and normal color vision or color vision correction to 20/20. Strong problem-solving skills. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and processes in the industry.
