Job Description
Valence Surface Technologies specializes in treating and finishing metal parts for airplanes, spacecraft, the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. They serve prominent clients such as Boeing, the US Army, and Aviation industry, and others Resposibilities Perform surface preparation and cleaning of aerospace components using blasting techniques. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of blasting materials. Operate and maintain blasting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished surfaces for quality and adherence to specifications. Document processes and maintain records of blasting operations and materials used. Determine the priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing Select appropriate media according to specifications and customer requirements Completes paperwork as required by the company and processing guidelines Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly skills On-the-job training, no experience required. Production or manufacturing experience is a plus Must be able to pass drug testing and background checks High School Graduate or equivalent
