We are a startup concrete restoration contractor serving the Puget Sound region, focused on roadway panels, sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, and related public-works concrete repair. This is a hands-on field role for someone who can operate equipment, drive CDL vehicles, support production, and help keep the crew moving. The position combines equipment operation, hauling, loading and unloading, jobsite support, and general field logistics. This role will also assist with labor, cleanup, site organization, and basic maintenance at active job sites, the company yard, shop, and staging areas as needed. We are looking for someone who is safe, dependable, mechanically aware, and ready to work as part of a small, growing team. The right person takes care of equipment, works well around crews and traffic, and is willing to do what the job needs each day. What you'll do Operate equipment used for demolition, removal, excavation, grading, material handling, and compaction Safely operate an excavator with hydraulic breaker and compactor attachments in support of concrete restoration work Drive CDL vehicles and haul equipment, materials, debris, and tools between the yard, job sites, plants, and disposal locations Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment, attachments, tools, and materials safely Support concrete panel replacement, sidewalk, curb, and roadway restoration work Assist with site prep, base work, cleanup, and production support as needed Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required vehicle and equipment checks Help maintain trucks, trailers, equipment, tools, and small machines in clean, ready working condition Work safely around crews, utilities, traffic control, and active public works sites Support yard organization, staging, fueling, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks Follow direction from the foreman and work effectively as part of a small field team Basic requirements Valid CDL Proven experience operating an excavator with hydraulic breaker and compactor attachments Ability to safely support demolition, removal, base preparation, and compaction work on concrete restoration projects Ability to load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials safely Strong equipment awareness and commitment to safe operation around crews, traffic, and active job sites Ability to work outdoors in Western Washington weather conditions Ability to perform inspections, secure loads, climb on and off equipment, and assist with physical field work as needed Reliable transportation to the company yard or assigned job site Strong attendance, punctuality, communication, and team mentality Preferred, not required Experience with excavators, skid steers, compact equipment, dump trucks, or equipment trailers Experience in concrete, utility, asphalt, excavation, grading, or public works construction Experience hauling equipment or construction materials Lowboy, tag trailer, or dump truck experience OSHA 10, flagger card, or similar safety training Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance experience Why join Rainier Dynamics This is a chance to get in early with a growing company and help shape how the field operation runs.
