Job Description

Machine Operator (Entry-Level) The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting maintenance and engineering activities at a manufacturing facility. This entry-level position involves assisting with machinery maintenance, contributing to new product development, and addressing technical challenges. The operator collaborates with both management and production staff to ensure efficient operations and the consistent production of high-quality plastic products. The role reports to the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient output. Conduct routine inspections to maintain optimal machine performance. Adjust machine settings as needed to meet production specifications. Maintenance Support Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime. Help manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies. Product Development Support new product development by providing input on machine capabilities. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify process improvements. Test new products and report findings for evaluation. Technical Assistance Address technical issues during production and propose solutions. Document equipment or process issues and communicate with management. Support implementation of corrective actions as directed. Safety Compliance Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. Participate in required safety trainings and drills. Report hazards, near misses, or incidents promptly. Team Collaboration Work closely with team members and leadership to support production goals. Contribute to a positive and communicative work environment. Participate in team meetings and provide updates as needed. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of machine performance and production output. Report irregularities or maintenance needs to leadership. Assist in compiling operational data and performance metrics.
