Position Summary Responsible for set up and operation of both manual and CNC press brake's, tube/mandrel bending machines, lasers and other machines used in the daily production of various metal parts. Meeting on time delivery goals for the forming department. Maintaining a high focus on safety and departmental cleanliness. This position will start with a training schedule and M-Thurs and then the oppertunity to transition to Tuesday- Friday. Key or Essential Functions The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following: Prepare and set up various production machines in accordance with equipment specifications and best practices Safely operate production equipment used in the manufacturing of various products. Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom tooling Follow safety protocols and standards in all daily activities Operate lasers Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel) Check dimensional accuracy utilizing precision-measuring instruments Inspect work / products for accuracy and ensure industry standards are met upon completion Meet customer/departmental delivery requirements accurately accomplish daily tasks Communicate with supervisor and other team members to accomplish company standards and goals Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake Produce quality parts, on time, for downstream operations Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to company procedures Complete and maintain paperwork as required for daily production Check machine for defects and repair if necessary Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned Secondary Functions

Job Qualifications/Requirements Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or a General Education degree required
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience running various forming equipment and/or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years' Experience reading blueprints, drawings and or solid models
- Proficient at utilizing various precision measuring equipment as required for quality control
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be highly skilled at reading blueprints, must pass math test, willing and able to work in fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Experience working with set up and operation of non CNC brake press
- Experience in shearing, punching and other forming operations
- Strong verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to troubleshoot to make the best use of time and equipment to complete tasks
- Willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed
