We currently have an opening for a Machine Operator in our SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Machine Operation :

Setting up/operating pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens.

Inspection & Testing:

Conducting visual, manual, or automated inspections to verify assembly quality and troubleshoot defects for surface-mount (SMT) components.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to control and adjust machine settings as needed.

Quality Check:

Outputs to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws

Documentation:

Interpreting schematics, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Required Skills and Qualifications Manual Dexterity:

Strong hand-eye coordination for handling small components, often under microscopes.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in soldering techniques and familiar with electronic testing equipment.

Detail-Oriented:

Focused on ensuring high reliability in aerospace, industrial, or consumer electronic products.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is typical, often with 0-5+ years of relevant experience. Solders components onto printed circuit boards using hand held soldering irons Work Environment Climate controlled work environment. Requires compliance with safety protocols and electrostatic discharge (ESD) standards.
