TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leader in packaging automation to hire a Field Service Technician . This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting automated packaging and robotic systems at customer facilities throughout North America. Responsibilities Install, commission, and configure packaging equipment, robotic systems, and automation solutions. Perform startup, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems. Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and maintenance. Diagnose and resolve equipment performance, controls, and automation issues. Install machine upgrades, retrofits, and replacement components. Test, calibrate, and verify equipment performance. Document service activities, findings, and corrective actions. Provide remote technical support when not traveling. Partner with engineering and support teams to resolve customer issues and improve system performance. Requirements Technical degree or equivalent technical training. 10+ years of experience supporting packaging machinery and industrial automation equipment. Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting experience. Experience with robotic systems and automated production equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and PLC logic. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability to train operators and maintenance teams. Valid driver's license. Ability to travel up to 100% throughout North America .
