Job Description
Summary/objective As the second tier in the Machine Operator job family, Operator II's will meet all requirements, skills, and definitions set forth in the Machine Operator I description. Upon management's discretion and availability of position/workload, an Operator I can advance to Operator II when the below definitions are met. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Set up machines for various job runs Assist Machine Operator's with set-up of machines for various job runs. Identify proper tool set required for the job Install and adjust tool set and guides until desired output results are achieved Use calipers and measuring tools to ensure results are within acceptable margins Use math to calculate results down to the thousandth decimal place Use learned judgment and experience to give advice on tool adjustment as needed Help to provide or seek appropriate solutions when production issues arise; follow up to ensure resolution.
