Day Shift Location:

Tumwater, WA Must be 18yrs old or older Get Your Foot in the Door of Aerospace Manufacturing Looking for a hands-on job where you can learn valuable manufacturing skills , work around CNC machines, and become part of a skilled team ? Mega Machine Shop is looking for a dependable Shop Hand / Manufacturing Assistant to support our machinists and keep our 22,000-square-foot precision machining facility running safely, efficiently, and organized. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has good mechanical aptitude, and wants to build a career in manufacturing. Previous machine shop experience is helpful, but it is not required. We're willing to train the right person. What You'll Do As a Shop Hand / Manufacturing Assistant, you'll work throughout our machine shop supporting our machinists and production team.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assist machinists with day-to-day shop and production needs Move and organize materials, tooling, parts, and equipment Saw-cut material to required sizes Load, unload, and safely move materials Operate an overhead crane and forklift Take basic measurements and perform basic math Assist with machine and equipment maintenance Perform preventative maintenance and general shop upkeep Keep work areas, machines, and common areas clean and organized Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing practices Help maintain an efficient and organized production environment Perform other hands-on shop duties as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is d ependable , motivated , mechanically inclined , and willing to learn .
