MACHINE OPERATOR / BLENDING TECHNICIAN - SWING SHIFT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a dependable Machine Operator / Blending Technician to join a food manufacturing operation in Woodinville. This is a full-time seasonal position for someone who enjoys hands-on production work and is comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
JOB DUTIES
Operate filler and packaging machinery safely and efficiently. Set up machines for daily production. Monitor machines during production and maintain efficient output. Verify product ingredients match the correct packaging materials. Check product appearance and package/seal integrity. Complete production logs and data sheets accurately. Perform machinery changeovers between product sizes. Communicate downtime, inefficiencies, and equipment issues to the Supervisor. Work with Maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and ready for inspection or tours. Participate in monthly inventory counts. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred. Food manufacturing or GMP experience is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team. Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn new equipment and processes. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and food safety standards.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for 8+ hours during a shift. Frequent use of hands, fingers, and ability to handle materials and equipment. Ability to walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with vibration, moving mechanical parts, and noise. Requires close, peripheral, and depth vision, as well as the ability to focus. Benefits Available to
