About the
Role:
The Packaging role is essential in ensuring that products are securely and efficiently prepared for shipment and distribution. This position focuses on maintaining high standards of quality and safety while handling various packaging materials and equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall supply chain by ensuring that products are packaged according to company specifications and regulatory requirements. Attention to detail and adherence to timelines are critical to minimize damage and delays during transit. Ultimately, this role supports customer satisfaction by delivering products in excellent condition and on schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of packaging materials and equipment. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control procedures. Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Forklift certification is a plus
Responsibilities:
Prepare and package products according to established guidelines and quality standards. Operate packaging machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Inspect product for defect or inconsistencies and report any issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with food safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets. Document packaging activities and maintain accurate records for inventory and quality control. Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to packaging operations.
