Cheese Manufacturing Starting Pay:

$19.48•24.48/hour Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing role where quality, teamwork, and food safety matter every day? Join FrieslandCampina Ingredients as a Packaging Operator and play a vital role in our cheese manufacturing. In this position, you'll operate packaging equipment, maintain sanitation standards, and help ensure every product meets our rigorous quality and food safety requirements. If you are dependable, safety-conscious, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, we'd like to hear from you. As a Packaging Operator , you will help ensure the safe and efficient packaging of our cheese products while maintaining the highest sanitation and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate bagging and packaging equipment according to established procedures Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation activities to maintain a clean-room-like environment Conduct Critical Control Point (CCP) checks and verify product quality standards Collect product samples and accurately complete required documentation Monitor equipment performance and promptly report operational issues Handle and use approved cleaning compounds safely and effectively Support facility-wide sanitation and housekeeping activities Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety requirements, and company policies Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Cross-train in additional manufacturing processes as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for extended periods Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen Experience working in a production or packaging environment The Ideal Candidate You take pride in producing quality work, follow procedures carefully, and understand the importance of food safety and cleanliness.
