Job Description

- 1st Shift QPS Employment Group 17.
Position Title:
Assembly Wage:
$17.00- $18.
Hour Shift:
1stShift Hours:
06:00 AM- 02:30 PM Monday
- Friday, OT 04:00 AM
- 09:00 AM Saturday Whether you are looking to get your start in manufacturing, or have some experience, this is the position for you!
Assembly Responsibilities:
- Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements; examine connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies securely
- Measure completed components to verify specifications; resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions as needed and notifying supervisors for additional resources
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs as necessary
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations
- Monitor supplies inventory; anticipate needed supplies; place and expedite orders; verify receipt of supplies
- Complete production and quality forms to document actions and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed; ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management Requirements for
Assembly:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments
- Detail-oriented with strong self-motivation and multitasking abilities
- Good finger and hand dexterity
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and torque values
- Previous experience in a highly technical environment
- Experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly
- Previous forklift experience is a plus
