MACHINE OPERATOR
Kuehn Printing is looking to hire a bindery machine operator with a background in setting-up and operating machines. This is an entry level position where we will train you to operate paper cutters and folders, then transition to saddle stitchers and other bindery equipment. About the Role (Job Description) As a Bindery Machine operator, you will primarily be setting up, running, and maintaining our bindery equipment. The more types of machines you learn to operate, the greater your income opportunity! This is a full-time, hourly position . This is a first shift position, working Monday through Friday, with an hourly wage that will be determined by your experience ($19.00/hour and up). Experienced operators are encouraged to apply! What you will be doing day to day (Your Responsibilities): Set up, operate, and maintain machines according to job specifications and production schedules. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper alignment, feeding, and finishing of printed materials. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to optimize performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain quality of finished product. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality control standards before packaging. Work collaboratively with other team members, including machine assistants and supervisors, to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
