Assistant Laser Operator

Assistant Laser Operator LMI MFG. We are hiring a Laser Operator Assistant for first and second shift (2nd shift comes with a $2hr premium) to support our laser department. This is a hands-on role assisting our primary laser operators to ensure smooth production flow. You will be responsible for loading and unloading sheet metal, staging materials, deburring parts, operating a forklift, and keeping the laser cell organized and running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who: Likes staying active and busy Takes pride in supporting a team Is dependable and detail-oriented Wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing Responsibilities Assist laser operators with loading and unloading sheet metal Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely Remove cut parts from skeletons (denesting) Deburr and finish laser-cut components Stage materials for upcoming jobs Maintain clean and organized laser work areas Support production flow to maximize uptime Follow safety procedures and quality standards
