Weekend Machine Operator Overview Operate laser-based production equipment to manufacture medical products such as glucose sensors, wound care items, and diagnostic components. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, lab-style environment with cross-training opportunities. Key Responsibilities Operate laser and production machines following work instructions and specifications Set up and run production cycles to ensure efficient output Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Perform in-process testing to verify product quality Package finished products per requirements Document production, quality checks, and test results (manual + digital) Follow safety, GMP, and cleanliness standards (PPE required) Cross-train on multiple machines and processes Identify and report equipment or quality issues Maintain organized work area and meet production goals Required Skills 6+ months machine operation (manufacturing, mechanical, or medical) Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment quickly Experience with inspection, assembly, or packaging Familiar with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Reliable work history Ability to work shift schedule (Weekend or 3rd shift)
