Job Summary

Join our team in Hudson, WI, a charming city known for its picturesque views of the St. Croix River and vibrant community life. We are seeking a skilled individual responsible for operating a computer-based laser machining work center. The primary responsibility is to laser process components following instructions provided through drawings, written, or verbal direction. This role requires familiarity with procedures and the ability to work effectively in a team environment under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer-specific process requirements, ensuring comprehension of documentation requirements.

Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation and adjust system settings within established guidelines as necessary.

Inspect components to ensure specifications are met.

Enter data and report issues as required.

Take responsibility for all required process documentation as directed.

Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by the Supervisor.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to company policy and safe labor practices.

Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering various wavelengths of laser light for personal protection.

Maintain a high standard of conduct and job performance in a professional and appropriate manner.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent, or completion of primary school in Costa Rica.

Minimum of three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment, preferably utilizing computer-aided machinery or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated inspection equipment.

Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing.

Experience using optical inspection equipment, such as magnifiers, microscopes, or equipment used for measuring capacity.
