Start time varies between 5:00am-7:30am; End time varies between 1:00pm-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs
- Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions
- Complete equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures
- Produce products up to safety and quality standards in an efficient manner
- Reject products that do not meet standards in place
- Record length of time and quantity of materials used for each job; inspect parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed
- Help and assign packers as needed for production line
- Report any machinery issues to Maintenance
- Troubleshoot the machine as needed
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Must have over a year of Machine Operation experience in a Food Production environment
- Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English
