Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification
• Machine readiness
• inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up; identify issues which adversely affect product requirements
• Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution
• Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices
• Complete all shift documentation/paperwork
• Shift hand-off: go over job status and updates with incoming shift
• Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate

PPE Requirements For Machine Operator:

• Lift up to 10 lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools)
• Lift 11-30 lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift)
• Lift 31-50 lbs occasionally (1-2 lbs per shift)
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in warm environments
• One year manufacturing or related experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements
• Basic math skills
