Job Description
Screw Machine Operator Shift:
2nd, (4pm-3:05am)
Pay:
$21-$28/hr. (Based on Experience) As a Screw Machine Operator, you will set up and operate single or multi-spindle lathe-type screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms. You'll be responsible for machining metal bar stock parts to exact specifications and tolerances.
Read and interpret blueprints and job orders
Set up machine tooling, including collets, cams, gears, bushings, and pushers
Load bar stock and install cutting tools according to work order specs
Adjust cutting speeds, feed rates, and machine controls
Monitor machine operations and inspect first-piece and in-process work
Replace worn tools and use bench grinders for sharpening
Follow safety policies, OSHA standards, and ISO procedures
Perform basic math for measurements and part inspection
Maintain full-time attendance and support team production goals
