Hours:

6:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday

Pay:

$24-25/hour

This is a direct hire opportunity with our client in the Milwaukee area, Responsible for the operation of the plating line, primarily the loading and unloading of plating racks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Rack cast parts & hardware to the appropriate rack, following the process document for correct location and orientation of part.

2. Remove completed parts from racks and place in appropriate bins, carts or other storage devices. 3. Inspect parts for plating quality and complete coverage.

4. Report plating defects or problems relating to the plating line to the plating supervisor in a timely manner.

5. Assist in the periodic dismantling and cleaning of the plating line tanks, conveyor, transfer device and other plating related equipment.

5. Other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Prior plating experience required Must have functional English skills in reading, writing & speaking. Some judgment is required to set up assigned machine in accordance with standard methods and procedures.

Must develop detailed knowledge of the correlation between parts & part racks.

Must develop a working knowledge of the full plating machine operation, be able to identify potential problems and learn appropriate responses to various types of equipment problems.
