3:00pm-11:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator for a company in Oconomowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs
- Produce assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions
- Complete equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures
- Produce products up to safety and quality standards in an efficient manner
- Reject products that do not meet standards in place
- Record length of time and quantity of materials used for each job; inspect parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed
- Help and assign packers as needed for production line
- Report any machinery issues to Maintenance
- Troubleshoot the machine as needed
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Must have over 1 year of machine operation experience in a food production environment
- Ability to do basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English
