Overview of Swiss-Tek Coatings, Inc.: Swiss-Tek Coatings was founded in 2000 with the mission of delivering high-quality Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings for tooling and wear parts. Over the past two decades, the company has grown into a trusted partner for industries requiring advanced coating solutions, including metalworking, manufacturing, and precision tooling. Headquartered in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Swiss-Tek operates with state-of-the-art equipment and rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure coatings of industrial tools and components. Position Summary The Machine Operator / Load Breaker plays a critical role in Swiss-Tek Coatings production workflow by preparing tooling and wear parts for coating, operating PVD coating equipment, and breaking down completed loads with precision and care. This position ensures that all parts are processed according to established quality standards, supporting Swiss-Tek's commitment to high-performance coatings and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Clean, inspect, and prepare tooling, wear parts, and components for coating according to established procedures. Safely operate PVD coating systems, including loading fixtures, initiating coating cycles, monitoring equipment, and documenting run data. Carefully unload coated parts, inspect for coating quality, and prepare items for final cleaning, packaging, or additional processing. Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure coating uniformity and adherence to customer specifications. Move parts, fixtures, and materials throughout the production area using proper safety techniques. Conduct basic preventive maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of coating equipment and support machinery. Accurately record production data, coating batch details, and inspection results. Work closely with production staff, quality personnel, and supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency and meet daily production targets. Qualifications Prior machine operation, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred. PVD coating experience plus. Ability to operate industrial machinery, read basic work instructions, and follow detailed process steps. Strong focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and quality. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety.

From $20.00 per hour
