Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operating all assigned equipment in accordance with safety standards, quality requirements, GMP's, and job specifications
- Monitoring and operating beverage filling equipment, packaging lines, de-palletizers, and stackers to ensure optimal performance and product quality
- Performing equipment start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns in a safe and efficient manner
- Conducting routine inspections and identifying mechanical issues; promptly reporting concerns to maintenance and leadership
- Performing clean-in-place and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Accurately documenting production data, machine settings, downtime, and quality checks per protocols
- Ensuring all finished products meet company quality standards for volume, labeling, packaging, coding, and appearance
- Troubleshooting minor equipment issues and making necessary adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Monitoring production lines for jams or material issues and taking corrective action as needed
- Assisting with proper line setup and ensuring correct materials are used
- Performing regular case inspections to verify product quality and compliance
- Maintaining clean and organized work area
- Supporting team operations across production lines as needed to ensure smooth workflow
- Completing all required documentation accurately and thoroughly Requirements for
Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of QMS, food safety standards, and GMP's
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail with ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to get forklift certified
