Summary:

Operators support daily manufacturing by operating extrusion and compounding equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, and assisting across production as needed. Key Responsibilities Operate equipment for extrusion and compounding, including start‑up, shutdown, and cleaning. Prepare materials , equipment, and documentation for production. Troubleshoot machinery and resolve operating issues. Follow all quality standards , safety rules, and housekeeping procedures. Load/unload trucks and operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment. Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns to supervision. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Strong commitment to safety and product quality. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform bending, twisting, climbing, and prolonged standing. Strong math skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Basic computer skills and ability to work independently. Experience with forklifts/pallet jacks. Basic polymer knowledge preferred. Prior plastics manufacturing experience or a 2‑year technical degree; extrusion experience a plus. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
