Split shift, Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM Job Summary Operate assigned knitting machines to produce high-quality knit trim while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Key Responsibilities Monitor machines constantly and keep them supplied with yarn, cones, and thread. Conduct regular product observations and four daily quality checks to ensure standards are met. Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning excess oil, grease, and lint, and changing needles. Handle color changes, fill out set-up sheets, and enter programs. Doff machines, weigh fabric, fix press-offs and bunch-ups, and perform light-duty set-up work. Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and clearing unused yarn. Qualifications & Physical Demands Ability to follow directions closely and work overtime when necessary. Lift up to 35 pounds occasionally and occasionally pull 70-pound cans across the floor. Strong visual acuity to see fabric clearly, distinguish colors accurately, and use a tape measure. Constant standing, walking, reaching, and pulling. Reliable attendance.
