Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stitcher Operator to join our production team in Sun Prairie, WI. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining stitching/binding equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and an eye for quality.
Schedule:
6:00 am - 6:00 pm, rotational
Pay:
$19.00/hour
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor stitching/binding equipment (e.g., saddle stitchers) Ensure jobs meet quality standards, specifications, and deadlines Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines Read and interpret job tickets and production instructions Inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and binding quality Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
Previous experience of operating stitchers or bindery/finishing equipment preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Ability to read job tickets and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented #indMMIS
