7 Waunakee, WI Job Details Full-time $27.48 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical assembly Machine troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Manufacturing company experience Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Assembly Team Lead to support daily production operations and help lead an assembly team. This position works closely with the supervisor to ensure quality, productivity, training, and company goals are met. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on assembly experience, and the ability to train and support other employees.
Hours:
2nd Shift FT Monday
  • Thursday 3 pm
  • 1:30 am, potential OT 1:30 am
  • 3 am and/or
Friday Pay:
$27.48/hour
Responsibilities:
Train and support employees on assembly processes, procedures, and quality standards Monitor work to ensure products meet quality and production requirements Test assembled units and troubleshoot mechanical or assembly issues Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain accurate employee training records Work closely with supervisors, leads, and other departments to meet production goals Provide input on employee performance and development Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring equipment Promote a safe, quality-focused, and team-oriented work environment Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education preferred 3+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/production environment Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience using precision measuring equipment Strong communication and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet/moving for extended periods #indMMIS
