Job Description

AAA Hardwoods, located in Weyauwega, in looking for a Sawmill Laborer to join our team. This position works 4 ten-hour shifts. No weekend work. You will be removing lumber from the pull-out chain and place it in the proper pack while maintaining the appearance of the package. Will cross-train in other areas of the Sawmill.
Essential functions:
Employees must be able to fulfill these functions in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner. Physical demands include standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds. Accurately piles the lumber Responsible for keeping up with the flow of production Works as a team with the other lumber pilers to ensure all packages are completed accurately and in a timely manner Puts safety first in all responsibilities Keeps workspace and surroundings clean and neat to foster productivity and efficiency. To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED preferred Previous lumber manufacturing experience preferred Strong communication skills Ability to work with a team
