Pay Range:

$20/hr to $21/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging medical devices while following established manufacturing procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environment. Candidates with cleanroom experience and a strong understanding of quality procedures are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assemble medical devices according to written procedures, specifications, and work instructions. Perform assembly activities in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom manufacturing environments. Conduct visual inspections of products and packaging materials. Perform in-process quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Complete airflow testing and other product verification activities. Accurately document manufacturing data and production activities according to established documentation practices. Identify and communicate product defects, process deviations, and quality concerns. Rotate between multiple manufacturing operations and production areas as needed. Clean and organize manufacturing equipment, tools, and work areas. Handle products, materials, and tools carefully to minimize waste and product damage. Follow all safety policies, manufacturing procedures, and quality requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gowns, gloves, eye protection, face protection, and shoe coverings. Collaborate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience. Ability to read and follow written manufacturing procedures. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a visual acuity test (20/20 corrected vision).

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical device manufacturing experience. Cleanroom experience. Experience following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) . Experience following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) . Experience performing visual inspections. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

Perform repetitive hand and finger movements throughout the workday. Sit, stand, and walk as required during production activities. Lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Perform detailed visual inspections of small components and devices. Work with small parts while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy. (LH-R2) #IND2
