PM Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to support the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices in a regulated production environment. This role involves assembly, repair, and testing operations on advanced cardiac devices including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), and related components. The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures while working in a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations for medical device products Follow standardized manufacturing procedures and work instructions Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Ensure traceability of parts and compliance with quality standards Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives Follow all safety procedures and utilize required safety equipment Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions effectively with supervisors and team members Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages Prioritize tasks based on production schedules and operational requirements Handle and maneuver small components and delicate materials with precision Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance activities
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to handle small parts and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical device manufacturing experience Experience working in cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environments Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
Work Environment & Dress Code Requirements:
This position operates in a controlled manufacturing environment with strict gowning and cleanliness standards.
Employees must:
Wear non-shedding, clean clothing free of loose fibers or frayed materials Avoid open-toed shoes, fleece, glitter, sequins, fragrances, makeup, jewelry, and artificial nails Follow all cleanroom gowning and contamination-control procedures Wear required PPE and safety garments at all times
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive hand movements during shifts Ability to handle small components with precision Ability to work in a manufacturing cleanroom environment
