Qualified candidates should have a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a healthcare setting and be proficient in the following duties:
Pay Rate :
$30/hr
Location :
Los Angeles, CA Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (8-hour shifts)
Job Duties :
Reviews provider orders; selects, fabricates, applies, adjusts, modifies, and removes orthopedic devices according to clinical needs and established standards. Prepares examination rooms and ensures required equipment and documentation are available. Educates patients and families on the care of casts, braces, orthotic/prosthetic devices, and traction. Assists providers with specialized orthopedic devices, including Minerva jackets, halo casts, hip spicas, cast braces, and plaster pylons.
