Laser Welding Operator Bedford, MA 1st

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm $20-$21 per hour We are seeking a Laser Welding Operator to support precision medical device manufacturing in Bedford, MA. This position involves operating laser welding equipment, assembling small components and completing detailed quality inspections in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities Set up, operate and monitor precision laser welding equipment Align and join small, delicate components used in surgical devices Load materials and maintain a consistent production flow Perform visual and dimensional inspections Use microscopes, calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools Identify equipment issues, material defects and nonconforming parts Complete production logs, work instructions and required documentation Follow established safety, quality, cleanroom and manufacturing procedures Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed Qualifications Laser welding or similar precision fabrication/welding experience Experience setting up and operating manufacturing equipment Ability to perform detailed, repetitive work with very small components Strong attention to quality and ability to follow written procedures Small-parts assembly experience strongly preferred Medical device, cleanroom or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus Inspection experience using microscopes or precision measurement tools is helpful High school diploma or GED One in-person interview is required.
