Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking a Medical Device Assembler to support the production of high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing cell. This role involves assembly, repair, testing, documentation, and quality-focused production work in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, repair, and test medical device components and related assemblies. Follow written procedures and verbal instructions with accuracy and consistency. Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation. Handle and maneuver small components and parts with care. Use electronic data collection systems and computer software as required. Follow all safety guidelines and use required safety equipment. Support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality, QMS, EMS, and regulatory initiatives. Communicate issues, ideas, and solutions clearly with manufacturing leadership and team members. Maintain a clean, compliant, and professional production-area presence.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, understand, and follow standardized procedures. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to prioritize tasks based on sequencing, timing, and importance. Comfortable working with small parts and detailed assembly processes. Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Must follow all production-area dress code and gowning requirements, including restrictions on shedding clothing, jewelry, nail polish/artificial nails, makeup, scented products, and non-compliant footwear.
