Shift:

3:15 pm -1:45 am Position Summary This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The role includes detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery following documented procedures. Duties may include electronic assembly, casting/coating, mechanical assembly, packaging, cleaning tools and equipment, and proper disposal of hazardous waste. Depending on the work area, this position may be performed in a controlled cleanroom environment and may require the use of microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and various manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities include:

Assembling medical devices and related components. Performing visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Conducting tests using computerized test equipment. Repairing and correcting devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools. Packaging finished devices while ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete. Prioritizing work based on precedence and importance. Making sound decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. High school diploma required. Top Five Required Skills Minimum 2 years of medical device assembly experience (catheter or small component assembly preferred) Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs Quality inspection experience with strong attention to detail Basic documentation experience in a GDP/GMP environment Additional Requirements Frequent microscope use for assembly and inspection No team lifting required Primarily sitting (70-80%) with occasional standing (20-30%) Candidates must meet a 7th-grade reading and comprehension level AB01
