Overview Join our innovative biomedical manufacturing team as a Medical Device Assembler! In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in the precise assembly of cutting-edge medical devices that improve patient outcomes worldwide. Your expertise will ensure that each component is assembled to the highest standards, adhering to strict industry regulations and quality protocols. Duties Assemble medical devices with manual and mechanical tools, ensuring all components meet specifications and quality standards Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production documents to accurately perform assembly tasks Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances during assembly processes Conduct quality inspections using microscopes and other inspection equipment to identify defects or deviations from specifications Follow strict cleanroom protocols and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain a sterile environment during assembly and packaging Operate plastic injection molding equipment when required for component fabrication or modification Document all assembly steps accurately, maintaining detailed records in compliance with
ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards Support packaging of finished products according to company procedures while ensuring product integrity and compliance with regulatory standards Assist with soldering or other specialized tasks related to electronic or mechanical assembly as needed Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and uphold the highest quality assurance standards within the manufacturing facility Qualifications Proven experience in biomedical manufacturing processes or medical device assembly environments Proficiency with hand tools, microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Strong understanding of
ISO 13485
standards, FDA regulations, GMP, and cleanroom protocols Mechanical knowledge combined with manual dexterity for precision assembly tasks Experience working within a cleanroom environment and following strict cleanliness procedures Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation accurately and adhere to SOPs Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to assembly processes Prior experience with quality assurance practices within manufacturing settings is highly desirable Familiarity with plastics injection molding, soldering techniques, and biomedical manufacturing equipment is a plus Join us in creating life-changing medical devices by applying your technical skills in a collaborative, regulated environment.
