$20.00 - $24.00 per hour, with up to $26.00 per hour for candidates who bring cleanroom, microscope, and fiber optics experience. Schedule of the

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities of the
Medical Device Assembler:
Inspect, kit, install, and assemble components of fiber-optic medical products, including optical fibers, ferrules, connectors, and packaging components. Bend and splice fiber optics with precision and care. Operate manufacturing test equipment such as fiber-optic strippers and cleavers, power meters, oscilloscopes, laser test stations, RFID readers, and microscopes. Use bonding materials, including epoxies and glues. Wear appropriate cleanroom attire — coats, hair and beard nets, gloves, and booties — and work in a controlled manufacturing area. Use generic cleaning liquids such as alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, and acetone. Maintain cleanliness of your work area and common areas. Perform basic equipment setup and troubleshooting as needed. Cross-train in production processes or areas as assigned by the supervisor. Meet assigned production metrics as defined by the supervisor. Train other assemblers as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications of the

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with small, fine components. Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions.
