Medical, Dental, vision and Life Insurance Role Overview BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to support the production of life-saving medical devices in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in assembling, testing, repairing, and documenting medical device components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a highly regulated manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and related components according to established procedures and work instructions. Perform routine manufacturing operations under close supervision while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation to ensure full product traceability. Follow standardized manufacturing procedures and Good Documentation Practices. Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members regarding production issues, solutions, and improvements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance requirements. Demonstrate an understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and contribute to operational excellence initiatives. Assist in monitoring production metrics and achieving departmental performance goals. Follow all safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with internal teams and visitors. Qualifications Required Qualifications Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively. Ability to handle and manipulate small components and parts with precision. Ability to make sound decisions and exercise judgment in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or medical device experience. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Work Environment Requirements This position requires strict adherence to cleanroom and manufacturing gowning standards. Candidates must be willing to comply with detailed requirements regarding clothing, footwear, personal grooming, cosmetics, jewelry, and contamination control procedures to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
