Job Description

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use electronic data collection systems and basic computer software
  • Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts
  • Ability to prioritize work and sequence tasks based on importance and deadlines
  • Ability to make routine decisions and judgments with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Ability to follow strict manufacturing safety, gowning, and production-area requirements
  • Must comply with required production-area dress and personal hygiene standards, including restrictions on jewelry, makeup, nail polish/artificial nails, fragrances, and exposed skinOverviewSupports the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
Working under close supervision, performs routine assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies while following standardized procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device components and assemblies
  • Follow specified and standardized manufacturing procedures under close supervision
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation, travelers, and quality records
  • Ensure all parts are properly documented and traceable to support product quality
  • Identify and communicate production problems, ideas, and solutions to manufacturing management
  • Follow all safety guidelines and properly use required safety equipment and devices
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to improve production processes, quality, and profitability
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Support manufacturing supervisors/managers with individual goals and cell performance metrics
  • Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with internal and external customers, including facility tours
