Up to $22.00/hour (based on experience) - Opportunity for increase to around $25hr when hired on by client, raise is based on your performance during contract period. TOPS Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a well-established medical device manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area. This position involves hands-on mechanical work disassembling, repairing, cleaning, and reassembling specialized components. Position Overview The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling mechanical components and housings. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Disassemble and reassemble mechanical housings and components Repair, replace, paint, and buff device housings and related parts Clean external components using tools such as buffing machines and other cleaning methods Assist technicians with equipment teardown and preparation work Perform mechanical inspections on completed assemblies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and small power tools Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to multitask and stay organized in a production environment Preferred Experience Technical school coursework or 3+ years of related mechanical or assembly experience Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment or devices Experience in manufacturing environments following ISO 9001 or

ISO 13485

quality standards Previous work in medical device manufacturing is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task by working on several units in various stage of build process.
