Shift:
Monday-Thursday 5:30PM-3:30AM Job Details We are seeking an experienced Operator II to support the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. This position performs detailed assembly, inspection, testing, repair, and packaging while operating various manufacturing equipment according to documented procedures. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices and related components.
  • Perform electronic and mechanical assembly, casting/coating, adhesive bonding, and packaging as assigned.
  • Use microscopes, hand tools, syringes, soldering equipment, and other production tools.
  • Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
  • Test devices using computerized test equipment.
  • Repair or correct devices and components using microscopes and applicable tools.
  • Package finished devices and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate traveler, shop floor, and quality documentation to ensure traceability.
  • Clean tools and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures and properly handle/dispose of hazardous materials.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary manufacturing environment. Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2+ years of Abbott manufacturing experience and/or experience in a related field, OR a technical certification/degree (including substantial progress toward completion).
  • Candidates without Abbott experience who do not meet the technical education/experience requirements should be considered for Operator I opportunities.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to understand verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems.
  • Ability to prioritize work and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a controlled cleanroom environment when required.
USOPS Pay:
$17.00 - $18.52 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
