Position:
Temp to hire Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Cleanroom Production Technician to join our manufacturing operation. In this role, you will work directly with precision plastic machine components, executing controlled cleaning, visual inspection, cleanroom handling, and protective packaging.
Note:
This is a precision component manufacturing and processing role, not a janitorial/commercial cleaning position or a research laboratory role.
Key Responsibilities Cleanroom Operations:
Execute multi-stage component preparation including controlled cleaning, water rinsing, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) cleaning, and specialized drying processes.
Inspection & Handling:
Perform careful visual inspections of delicate finished parts to ensure adherence to quality standards without introducing contamination or damage.
Packaging & Labeling:
Package, label, and seal processed precision components within a controlled cleanroom environment according to strict cleanroom protocols.
Traceability & Documentation:
Maintain complete part, lot, and job traceability through accurate completion of manufacturing documentation, batch records, and basic computer data entry.
Procedure Compliance:
Strictly adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality management protocols.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
SOP Adherence:
Demonstrated ability to consistently follow detailed written work instructions and procedures.
Cleanroom Comfort:
Comfortable wearing required cleanroom gowning and PPE (coveralls, hood, mask, gloves, booties) for extended periods.
Chemical Safety:
Comfortable working with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and standard cleanroom cleaning solutions. Attention to
Detail:
Exceptional visual acuity for part inspection and the manual dexterity to handle delicate components carefully.
Basic Technical Skills:
Proficient in basic computer use and accurate data entry.
Reliability:
Strong attendance record and the stamina to perform controlled, repetitive tasks consistently. Preferred Qualifications & Backgrounds Experience operating within an ISO-classified cleanroom environment. Prior component processing, visual inspection, assembly, or packaging experience in one of the following industries: Semiconductor manufacturing Medical device manufacturing Precision plastics or precision component manufacturing High school diploma or GED (a college degree or laboratory background is not required). Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for standard shift durations in a controlled cleanroom environment.
