Medical Device Assembly Technician

GAP-FLEX
® is a San Antonio-based medical device company developing an innovative rehabilitation device designed to support patients recovering from total knee replacement. As we continue moving into commercialization and production, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following clear processes, and taking pride in producing accurate, quality work. What You'll Do Assemble medical device components according to documented work instructions and procedures. Perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately and consistently. Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects or quality concerns. Complete basic quality checks and functional testing. Maintain accurate production records, including lot and serial-number traceability. Follow standard operating procedures and manufacturing documentation. Assist with labeling, packaging, inventory, and product preparation. Identify and report damaged, defective, or nonconforming materials. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe production workspace. Properly use and maintain basic tools and assembly equipment. Support other production and manufacturing needs as

continues to grow. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, warehouse, mechanical, or similar hands-on experience preferred. Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written instructions and established processes. Comfortable completing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Basic computer and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as production needs grow. Schedule & Compensation Full-Time On-Site in San Antonio, Texas $18.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Typical starting compensation is expected to fall within the $18.00-$20.00/hour range , depending on experience. Employees may be reviewed within the first 60-90 days based on performance, reliability, quality, documentation accuracy, independence, and ability to support additional production responsibilities.
