Job Description

Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for removing, reinserting, and ensuring all molds are in excellent working condition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove and reinstall molds as needed. Inspect molds for damage and communicate with direct management damage to molds. Ensure all molds are in good working condition. Maintain a clean and organized department including but not limited to workspace, mold storage, and mold maintenance cage Assist with occasional production support when production workload is heavy. Report any lost or damaged tools to management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience in a position demonstrating strong communication skills. Must be available for short-notice overtime and work weekends when necessary. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment while in the plant. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred. Excellent attention to detail required. Accurate attendance is required.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Will have to use lifting devices to move and install molds depending on the location and weight of the mold. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. In addition, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.
