In this role, you will operate and monitor molding equipment to produce high-quality components that reflect Kohler's legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Responsibilities include machine setup and adjustments, inspecting parts for quality, performing basic measurements, and maintaining accurate production records. You'll follow strict safety and 5S procedures, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues. Responsibilities Operate and monitor molding machines to produce high-quality components to Kohler standards Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to meet production specifications Inspect molded parts for defects, dimensions, and surface quality; perform basic measurements Follow safety, quality, and 5 S/lean manufacturing procedures and documentation Handle materials, load/unload molds, and maintain accurate production records Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to report issues and support continuous improvement Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of molding equipment and work area Work in a team environment to meet production targets and schedules Required Skills Injection or compression molding operation Mechanical aptitude and machine operation Equipment setup and changeover Quality inspection and measurement tools (calipers, gauges) Basic troubleshooting of production equipment Reading production drawings/work instructions Safety and OSHA compliance in manufacturing Material handling and shop math Basic preventive maintenance Lean/5 S manufacturing practices
