Production Operative - Moulding / Utility Worker Purpose of the Role Dellner Polymer Solutions is a global manufacturer specializing in vibration control and bonding solutions for international markets. With established production facilities in the United Kingdom and India, we have a new manufacturing facility in the United States, Robertsdale, Alabama. The Production Operative - Moulding / Utility Worker is responsible for safely operating moulding equipment, monitoring production processes, carrying out quality checks, and supporting general production activities. The role also involves material handling, housekeeping, secondary operations, and cross-functional support to ensure efficient, safe, and productive operations across the facility. Key Responsibilities Production Operations Operate moulding presses and production equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety procedures. Load and unload moulds, materials and components as required. Monitor machines during production and make basic operational adjustments where necessary. Follow production schedules and meet daily output requirements. Assist with mould changes, machine set-ups and production changeovers as directed. Complete rework, trimming, grinding, deburring and other secondary operations as required. Maintain accurate production, scrap and quality records. Quality & Inspection Inspect products for defects, dimensional accuracy and overall quality. Ensure products meet customer and company quality standards. Follow specifications, work instructions and quality procedures. Report quality concerns, defects or non-conforming products promptly. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and workmanship. Material Handling & Facility Support Safely move raw materials, finished products, moulds, tooling and production supplies throughout the facility. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and material-handling equipment when trained and authorised. Properly identify, label, package and store finished products and work-in-progress materials. Support inventory and material flow requirements across production areas. Assist other departments and employees as required to support plant operations. Safety & Housekeeping Follow all health, safety and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area. Participate in housekeeping and 5S activities. Report equipment faults, safety concerns and abnormal operating conditions. Contribute to a positive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Essential Ability to read and follow specifications, work instructions and production documentation accurately. Strong attention to detail. Good manual dexterity and practical skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable, flexible and safety-conscious approach to work. Desirable Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience operating moulding presses or similar production equipment. Knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes or similar industrial processes. Forklift experience or certification.

Pay:
